ABOUT BROADTURN FARM
Broadturn Farm is a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) farm located 10 miles from Portland, Maine that raises organic vegetables, cut flowers, strawberries, a small amount of poultry, and turkey, as well as natural and pork.  We host weddings and events.  The property is in agricultural conservation with the Scarborough Land Conservation Trust.  Formerly called the Keith Meserve Farm, the land is one of the largest farm properties in the Greater Portland area.  It has 100 acres of open land and about 300 wooded acres.

ABOUT THE LONG BARN
The Long Barn Educational Initiative at Broadturn Farm is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose programs take place at Broadturn Farm, a 434-acre property owned by the Scarborough Land Trust.

The Long Barn was formed in 2012 as a non–profit organization to educate children and adults about agriculture, food and the environment. We provide programs for families, adults, public and private schools, homeschooled children, campers and more.

The mission of The Long Barn is to cultivate a knowledge of and respect for locally produced, organically farmed food, and the environment within our community and throughout Maine
