Open Kitchens
A Creative Cooking & Preserving Class for Home Chefs
3rd Tuesday of the month July-October,
(July 16th, August 20th, September 17th, October 15th)
5:00pm-8:00pm

Radishes, beets and cabbage oh my!  Eating with the seasons can be challenging– but it can also be creative and fun!  Whether you are a new CSA member, occasional farmer’s market customer, or old time farm groupie, join us for this monthly drop in course.  We’ll pool our resources to come up with new ideas and recipes that are easy to make in the home kitchen and budget.  Master Food Preservers will also be on hand from the University Cooperative Extension to help you find ways to preserve the food you might not use in a week.  Stay for 20 minutes, or the whole session!  This space is all about using the abundance of fresh local food that comes from Maine.

Visit our blog and Facebook page in between courses to get more ideas and to follow our regular posts & weekly recipes.
