Events
The Long Barn organizes a number of events throughout the year that serve as fundraisers or 'friendraisers' to benefit our nonprofit, or simply to celebrate the season.  Events can range from May Day Celebrations, to Open Houses/Farms, to Harvest Dinners.  Please see our Calendar for upcoming events, take a look at the list below, or email questions to info@longbarnmaine.org.

If you would like to hold an event of your own (weddings, dinners, etc) at Broadturn Farm, please contact Stacy Brenner at 207.233.1178 or mrs.lemonburger@gmail.com.

Community Summer Celebration
(A Farm-to-Table Meal)
Wednesday, Aug. 14th, 5:oopm-7:00pm
Ticket cost: TBD
Check back with us soon to purchase tickets!

Every year our summer campers from the final week of summer camp participate in creating and end-of-season celebratory meal to share with family, and fellow campers.  This year we are opening it up to the public- as a celebration of the summer bounty that our fields provide!  The campers take part in all aspects of the planning for this meal: preparing the menu, harvesting, washing, and preparing produce, baking, cooking & pickling, cutting flowers for decoration, setting up the space for the meal, and serving it to our friends and family.  It's certainly a wonderful way to celebrate friends, family and good food.  Come join us!
